Step 1: Create Your Account

1. Click "Try Free for 30 Days" on the landing page to start a demo, or contact us for a full account
2. Enter your school information and contact details
3. You'll receive login credentials via email
4. Sign in and start the Game Setup wizard

Step 3: Add Staff and Students

You can add users manually or import them from your Student Information System (SIS).

• Manual Entry: Add individual staff and students through Game Setup
• CSV Import: Upload formatted CSV files to bulk import your staff and students
• Assign each student to a house team
• Set up staff accounts for teachers who will award points

Step 4: Create Recognition Types

Recognition types define the behaviors and achievements you want to reward. We have provided you with some examples to get started:

• Excellent Participation - 10 points
• Homework Hero - 15 points
• Academic Excellence - 20 points
• Kindness Champion - 20 points
• Class Helper - 5 points

Customize these or add your own to match your school's PBIS framework or values!

How to Award Points

1. Navigate to Award Points from the main menu
2. Search for the student by name or scan their QR code
3. Select the recognition type (e.g., "Excellent Participation")
4. Click Award to confirm
5. Points are added instantly to the student and their house!

Giving Kudos

• What is it: Kudos are rewards students earn when you award points.
• How it works: You award points for good behavior; the system quietly converts accumulated points into Kudos (school sets the ratio).
• Why it exists: Kudos let students buy real rewards or items from the Gift Shop — they make recognition turn into something tangible.
• What to say to kids: Focus on Kudos — e.g., "Kudos to Mia for helping!" (Don't lead with "points".)
• Quick tip: Teachers just give Kudos. You don't need to explain the points-to-Kudos math unless a student asks about spending.

Points to Kudos Conversion

When students earn points, they automatically receive Kudos based on your school's conversion ratio.

• Default Ratio: 3 points = 1 Kudos
• Example: Student earns 30 points = receives 10 Kudos
• Admins can adjust this ratio in Account Settings
• Kudos are used to purchase rewards in the Gift Shop

QR Code Recognition

Each student has a unique QR code that teachers can scan for quick point awards.

• Access student QR codes from their profile page
• Print QR cards for students to carry
• Scan with any phone or tablet camera
• Perfect for hallway or cafeteria recognition!

Setting Up Your Gift Shop

1. Go to Game Setup > Gifts
2. Enter the gift name, description, and Kudos cost
3. Set quantity available (or leave blank for unlimited)
4. Upload an image for the gift
5. Toggle active/inactive to control availability
6. Click Create Gift.

Popular Gift Ideas

Here are some ideas that might inspire your own rewards.

• Homework Pass (25 Kudos) - Skip one homework assignment
• Extra Recess (50 Kudos) - 10 extra minutes of recess
• Prize Box Pick (15 Kudos) - Choose from the prize box
• Lunch with Teacher (100 Kudos) - Special lunch date
• Class DJ (75 Kudos) - Pick music during work time
• Free Dress Day (50 Kudos) - Dress code exemption

You can use these or add your own to match your school's PBIS framework or values!

Fulfilling Student Purchases

1. When a student purchases a gift, it appears in Gift Purchases under Recent Purchases
2. Admin will see purchases marked as "Pending Fulfillment" in the Gift Purchases section
3. Provide the reward to the student
4. Click Mark Fulfilled and add optional notes
5. The purchase record is updated for tracking

Standard Reports

Access Reports from the main menu to view:

• Leaderboards: See top students and house rankings
• Point Distribution: Charts showing who's earning points
• Weekly Trends: Track engagement over time
• Export to CSV: Download data for external analysis

Advanced Analytics (Admins)

The Advanced Analytics dashboard provides deep insights into your school's engagement.

• Engagement Score (0-100): Overall health of your program
• Staff Analytics: See which teachers are most active
• Student Analytics: Identify top performers and at-risk students
• House Analytics: Compare house participation rates
• Classroom Analytics: Track engagement by class

Understanding Your Engagement Score
